おじさんの扱う宝飾品が盗まれた事件を追う話。
一気に登場人物が出てくるので
それぞれの立場と特徴を把握するのが大変だが、
徐々に真相に近づいていく過程はなかなかに面白かった。
ごく限られた場面しか出てこないのに
材料をうまく活かした筋書きになっていて、
いろんな要素がつながっていく気持ちよさがある。
読後感もよく、少年探偵ものとして楽しめた。
